Julia's (BEST) Brownies (EVER)

Oh I can't describe it. There is a satisfiying, non comparable, warmth inside of you, when you taste something, made by you, made with love and patience, and it's just great. My head and body just immediatly went like: OH MY GOOD AWESOME... MOOOREE!

Ok That's enough sweet (haha) talking. The recipe is originally written by Julia Child. That just makes it more awesome, because I watched the movie Julie&Julia while baking.

I have to admit, I had an intention when I searched for a brownie recipe. I wanted to make someone happy. And for me that's the best reason to bake. Seriously, food makes people happy.

Trust me, I know!
So, let's have a look on these babies!

Julia’s Best-Ever Brownies

1 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour (145 grams) — measure after sifting
1 teaspoon salt
8 ounces (228 grams) unsalted butter
4 ounces (114 grams) unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped ( I used 85% Chocolate)
2 ounces (56 grams) bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
2 cups (380 grams) sugar (divided use)
1 teaspoon (5 ml) pure vanilla extract (I hadn't any vanilla extract so I went with normal vanilin sugar, two little packs)
4 large eggs (or 5 Medium ones)

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 C).

2.Stir the sifted flour and salt together in a small bowl; set aside.

3.Melt the butter in a saucepan set over medium-low heat. When melted, reduce heat to low and add chopped chocolate, stirring often until it melts. Add 1 cup of the sugar to the mixture and stir for about half a minute. Remove pan from heat and pour into a mixing bowl. Stir in the vanilla.

4.Whisk the remaining 1 cup sugar and the eggs in a second bowl – Whisk only until combined – don’t over-beat. Gradually pour half of the sugar/egg mixture into the bowl with the chocolate mixture, stirring gently so that eggs don’t set from the heat of the chocolate mixture.

5.Using a hand-held mixer, beat the remaining sugar/egg mixture on high speed until it becomes pale and thick (it should double in volume).

6.Carefully fold the whipped eggs into the chocolate mixture. When the eggs are almost completely incorporated, gently fold in the dry ingredients.

7.Put in the oven. Love.
